TIPS ON BEAD MAKING

Beadwork is the simplest form of jewelry making. you don't need to invest a fortune in tools and materials, or spend years learning the skills. you don't need a workshop. you can even take your work with you practically anywhere. All you need are...beads, thread and needles

Beads
Beautiful beadwork start with beautiful beads. it is possible to create exquisite beadwork without the most expensive beads.i would like to give you a few tips:
When selecting bead colour, remember that the colour of beads in a bag/nylon may slightly differ from the colour your finished beadwork will be. If the particular shade is important to you, it's better to make a sample piece before selecting the bead colour. If you spend hours creating a necklace, you want it to look as beautiful as possible when you are finished. When choosing beads, make sure that the colour of the beads does not come off in you hands. An easy way to check this is to roll the beads around your palm. If any paint comes off, then you shouldn't use the Beads.

 Needles
I usually use size 10/11 needles. for some projects, where you will need to make several passes through each beads, size 10 may be more appropriate. you can always test the needle by passing it a couple of times through the bead.

Workspace
Your workspace should be well lit, and your seat should be soft and comfortable. the other things you will need are a pair of scissors and plier.
